How things have changed. I used to dread prom season. Especially during my last year at high school. I hated having to endure those girls talking about dress shopping, make up and all that. As for the big night, well I did not even go. The idea of having to wear a suit was too demoralizing for me. But fast forward a few years, I just love prom season. Not that I get to go again. I am 29 after all. But I can easily buy beautiful and cute dresses for cheap. Especially after when they’re all on sale. I have gathered an impressive collection over the years. Here’s my latest addition. Gorgeous right ? My slim yet tall figure definitly helps.
And I dare say that I would have been quite stunning at prom. In my humble opinion, I could have been queen material. But I doubt that having a transwoman in that role would have worked. That being said, things have changed since I was in high school. At least it has here in the greater Philly area. Well technically, I love in Cherry Hill, New Jersey in Camden County, but it’s really a Philadelphia suburb to the east. Regardless, I would not go back to those years anyway. I love my life as it is now. Since I am here, it means that it’s not yet perfect nor complete. I still need to find my king. I’d love a man who dresses up well with whom to go out on classy dates. Moreover, I want a kindhearted boyfriend. And who knows, future husband maybe.
