Hi! I’m Alexa, and I’m a makeup artist here in the suburbs of Des Moines, Iowa. I started loving makeup as a young boy but was never able to fully indulge in it. I was scared of what others would think and say about me, so I always just watched and observed from a distance. As a t-woman now, I think that makeup is very empowering because of that. It allows people to paint whatever they want on their face and make bold and beautiful statements. It really isn’t to make somebody pretty but rather, enhance the beauty that they already have. It’s an art and I enjoy painting on people’s canvases.
At 29 now with a pretty successful profession, I think I’m ready to invite some romance into my life. I was always so driven to make it in my career path that now that I’m actually where I want to be, I wish I had a lover to share all of this with. I’m a simple woman, I love going out to eat at new restaurants and for drinks right after. I love going on walks with my labradoodle Oreo and coming home to make a huge breakfast.
