Alright, I won’t cast a curse on you or invite you to an obscure ritual. I know that I project this image of a dark and mysterious young woman. It’s mostly the effect of my dark lips, and how I accentuate my deep brown eyes with my makeup. The same goes for my angular face and pale complexion. The fact that I rarely smile does not help either. I don’t mind being seen as a tenebrous 23-year-old girl. It means that I am passing and that I am feminine enough. And I don’t want to give more reason for people to judge me.
And so, I am not just hiding my shyness but also my trans identity. At least to the masses. My name’s Esther by the way. So not a witchy name at all. I do live in Temple in Bell County in Central Texas about an hour north of Austin. I am here to conjure, I mean, to find a companion. What ? I can at least joke about it.
